PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weeding implement which allows a weed to be pulled up by roots thereof from the ground by simple operation and thereby allowing a user to efficiently get rid of weeds.SOLUTION: The weeding implement includes: a handle 12, whose size allows a user to grip the handle by one hand and multiple root stinging needles 14, which are attached to the end of the handle 12 and protrude in one direction. The tip of each of the root stinging needles 14 is thin and sharp and the distance between adjacent root stinging needles 14 is wide at the tips 14a of the root stinging needles 14 and becomes gradually narrower towards a base end 14b.
