To provide a method for forming a transparent coating that is highly adherent to the skin and through which the skin is visible.A method for forming a coating on a skin surface using a nanofiber sheet, the method comprising:(1) Step (1) of applying to the skin a sheet transparentizing agent comprising 2 mass% or more of one or more oil agents； and(2) Step (2) of transferring a white nanofiber sheet mainly composed of a water-insoluble polymer to the skin after Step (1).
