The fiber has excellent color fastness and high durable hydrophilicity. The invention provides a fiber containing at least one thermoplastic resin and adhered to a fiber treating agent. The fiber treating agent contains a constituent (A) with equal to or more than 25 mass%, a constituent (B) with equal to or more than 5 mass% and a constituent (C) with equal to or more than 5 mass%, which is counted by an active ingredient standard, and the fiber adheres to the fiber treating agent with from 0.1 mass% to 1.0 mass% as relative to a fiber mass.
