The lawn mower is preferably fitted with two cutting heads, driven by a single drive unit and contained in one casing. The final drive shafts (3) pass through the casing, adjacent to an opening, which is formed to divide the casing into sections along the joint lines(9), such that the outer parts (12) of the casing can be removed, leaving the central part (11) still in place and carrying the cutting head and drive system.
