CHICKEN FEED COMPOSITION CONTAINING MEDICINAL HERBS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING EGG WHICH IS LOW IN CHOLESTEROL AND CONTAINS EPA AND DHA IN LARGE QUANTITIES WHEN FED TO CHICKEN
PURPOSE: A chicken feed composition including Scutellariae Radix, Acori Graminei Rhizoma, Coicis Semen, Astragali Radix, Cnidii Rhizoma and Sophorae Radix is provided. It is mixed with common feed ingredients and fed to chicken to produce an egg which is low in cholesterol and contains EPA and DHA in large quantities. CONSTITUTION: The chicken feed composition consists of medicinal herbs containing 25 to 35% by weight of Scutellariae Radix, 10 to 20% by weight of Acori Graminei Rhizoma, 5 to 15% by weight of Coicis Semen, 10 to 20% by weight of Astragali Radix, 10 to 20% by weight of Cnidii Rhizoma and 10 to 20% by weight of Sophorae Radix. For feeding to a chick, 300 to 700g feed composition is mixed with 1 ton common feed ingredients.
