The present invention relates to an improved cosmetic composition suitable for skin care application comprises emulsifier(s) derived from N-Acyl acidic amino acid, sugar based emulsifier(s) and high molecular weight fatty acid which is compatible to incorporate skin benefiting agents including acidic skin care agents in association with cosmetically acceptable vehicle in skin care formulation and is also stable .
