PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide medical forceps realizing excellent operability.SOLUTION: Medical forceps 1 comprise: a treatment part 2 which includes a pair of gripping pieces 21 whose distal ends are opened and closed, and is provided on the distal end side a handle part 5 which is provided on the base end side and enables an operation on the treatment part 2 and a shaft part 3 connecting the treatment part 2 and the handle part 5. The handle part 5 has a grip part 51 extending downward from the shaft part 3, and a pair of operation parts 53 which are respectively provided at positions closer to the distal end side from the grip part 51 on both sides sandwiching an extension line in a longitudinal direction of the shaft part 3 in a plan view and can move toward and away from each other in linkage with each other.
