The invention provides a method for post-processing and preparation of therapy processes on a device for extracorporeal blood treatment. The method comprises the steps of disinfecting and descaling ahydraulic system and/or purifying the hydraulic system, the hydraulic system being executable. The method is characterized by using an acidic concentrate to simultaneously perform the process steps ofdisinfecting and descaling in a combined process step and executing the process step of purifying the hydraulic system by using a bicarbonate solution.
