More specifically, the invention relates to stable, synergistic emulsions of various oils, water, cationic, anionic and bridged surfactants that are useful in the preparation of a variety of finished personal care, laundry and cleaning products including for example creams, lotions, sunscreens, liquid dishwashing detergents, laundry detergents, automatic dishwashing detergents, hand soaps, washing bars, personal cleansing bars, multipurpose cleaners, shampoos products, liquid body soap and textile treatment compositions. The emulsifications of the present invention may also be used in agricultural and pesticide applications. In addition, surfactant combinations may be used in antimicrobial formulations (e.g., antimicrobial hard surface cleaners, hand soaps, shampoos and dishwashing detergents), soft-terg release systems and pre-spotter compositions. The emulsification system of the present invention, even when used at low levels, is capable of permitting the emulsification of very high levels of oils in water, whereby such emulsions are stable in storage for extended periods of time at various temperatures. In addition, the concentrated emulsions of the invention are easily dilutable to very low concentrations and are also extremely stable phase systems.
