The present invention relates to a process for preparing a crosslinked gel of at least one polysaccharide or a salt thereof, comprising at least the steps consisting in: a) providing at least one aqueous gel of said polysaccharide in a noncrosslinked form, b) bringing said aqueous gel into contact with an effective amount of at least one crosslinking agent, c) subjecting the mixture formed in step b) to conditions suitable for the crosslinking of said polysaccharide, and, if need be, d) recovering said crosslinked hydrogel, wherein said process comprises, prior to step c), at least one step e) consisting in circulating the aqueous gel of polysaccharide of step a) and/or the mixture of step b) through at least one extrusion device which has at least one filter with a porosity ranging from 2 to 100 microns and capable of retaining any particle with a diameter greater than 100 microns,La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation dun gel réticulé dau moins un polysaccharide ou un de ses sels, comprenant au moins les étapes suivantes : a) utilisation dau moins un gel aqueux dudit polysaccharide sous une forme non réticulée b) mise en contact dudit gel aqueux avec une quantité efficace dau moins un agent de réticulation c) soumission du mélange formé lors de létape b) à des conditions appropriées pour la réticulation dudit polysaccharide et, en cas de besoin d) récupération dudit gel réticulé. Ledit procédé comprend, avant létape c), au moins une étape e) consistant à faire circuler le gel aqueux du polysaccharide de létape a) et/ou du mélange de létape b) à travers au moins un dispositif dextrusion, qui possède au moins un filtre présentant une porosité de 2 à 100 microns et est apte à retenir toute particule présentant un diamètre supérieur à 100 microns.
