PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring a quantity of exercise and a display apparatus, for calculating a motion analogous degree of a sample motion image in which a motion image obtained by photographing a user's motion and an exercise quantity of a specific value are each mapped and preserved, and calculating the exercise quantity of the user's motion using the calculated motion analogous degree.SOLUTION: The exercise quantity measuring method of the display apparatus includes: photographing a user's motion to acquire a motion image； calculating a motion analogous degree of a sample motion image in which the acquired motion image and the exercise quantity of a specific value are each mapped and preserved； and using the calculated motion analogous degree with the sample motion image to calculate the exercise quantity of the user's motion. As a result, since it is unnecessary to attach an additional apparatus to the user's body, user inconvenience is reduced, and it is possible to measure the exercise quantity using overall movements of the user.【課題】ユーザモーションを撮影したモーションイメージと特定値の運動量とが各々マッピングされて保存されたサンプルモーションイメージのモーション類似度を算出し、算出されたモーション類似度を用いて、ユーザモーションの運動量を算出する運動量測定方法ディスプレイ装置を提供する。【解決手段】本ディスプレイ装置の運動量測定方法は、ユーザのモーションを撮影してモーションイメージを獲得し、獲得されたモーションイメージと特定値の運動量とが各々マッピングされて保存されたサンプルモーションイメージのモーション類似度を算出し、サンプルモーションイメージとのモーション類似度を用いて、ユーザモーションの運動量を算出する。それにより、ユーザの身体に対する更なる装置を付着しなくてもよいため、ユーザの手間が軽減し、ユーザの動き全体を用いて運動量を測定することができるようになる。【選択図】図２
