The exercise quantity measuring method includes photographing a user's motion to obtain a motion image, calculating a motion analogous degree representing a comparison between the motion image and a sample motion image, where the sample motion image is previously stored in association with a sample value of exercise quantity； and calculating an exercise quantity of the user's motion based on the motion analogous degree and the sample value of exercise quantity.
