The method involves providing the particles (11, 12) at the beginning of a separating section in a medium. An inhomogeneous electric field is generated to effect movement of the particles in the non-uniform electric field. The particles in the medium are analyzed at the end of the separating path (22). The length of the separation of the particles is used in separation distance from the different velocities of the particles of different size, shape and type due to the different interaction potentials of the particles. The particles has specific diameter.
