PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for presenting food suited to a user or information on food to the user when the user uses a food providing facility so that the user can easily select food by which a good nutritional balance can be attained. SOLUTION: When the user places an order for a menu in a restaurant, ID information is read out from a card 16 with a card reader 17 and is notified to a menu preparing means 12. The menu preparing means 12 gets access to a memory means 14 and retrieves food information corresponding to the ID information. Depending on an amount of the food information, a default menu is displayed or the user's nourishment is analyzed, the food information stored in a memory means 13 is referred to, a menu complying with the user's nourishment is prepared and displayed on a displaying means 18.
