PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cut mushroom usable as an ingredient for home cooking or business cooking through adding it as it is into a dish when prepared. SOLUTION: The cut mushroom is obtained by cutting the hard tip of a mushroom 10 such as Flammulina velutipes, Pleurotus ostreatus or Hericium erinaceus to remove it therefrom, and cutting the mushroom into pieces having a length of about 1-5 cm or blocks having about 1-5 cm in size, dividing the mushroom 10 cut into a predetermined size after removing the hard tip therefrom into a certain amount to be used for one time of home cooking or business cooking, and sealing the mushroom 10 in a package bag 20 in a deaerated state or a state similar thereto. By such a process, the mushroom 10 cut into a predetermined sized one after removing its hard tip can be usable for home cooking or business cooking by adding it as it is into a dish when prepared only by taking it out from the package bag 20 without any measurement or adjustment of an amount to be used.
