PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize processing carried out for detecting images including abnormal parts out of time-serial images to detect images including abnormal parts in short time.
SOLUTION: A priority order setting part 753 sets a priority order for each unit section based on result of an abnormal part detection process previously carried out to a living body internal images in time series. The abnormal part detection part 755 sets respective unit sections for processing objects in order in accordance with the priority order set by the priority order setting part 753. An abnormal part detection process stop control part 757 determines whether or not the abnormal part detection process by the abnormal part detection part 755 is to be stopped based on results of the abnormal part detection process. In a case where it is determined that the abnormal part detection process is to be stopped by the abnormal part detection process stop control part 757, the abnormal part detection part 755 records the processed unit section for an abnormal part detection position.
