PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus and a medical image data backup system, capable of enhancing possibility of backing up medical image data even when a disaster or the like has occurred.SOLUTION: A medical image diagnostic apparatus includes an acquisition part and a transmission part. The acquisition part acquires medical image data used for diagnosis of medical image data imaged in time of examination every time the medical image data used for the diagnosis are decided.
