PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deletion processing method of medical image data and a medical image diagnostic apparatus which enable data of images captured in the past and data of the latest image to be read from an external storage part in which the data of the images captured in the past and the data of the latest image are stored in common, and enable the read data to undergo comparative radiographic image interpretation.SOLUTION: The medical image diagnostic apparatus has a storage part 123 for storing first medical image data of a subject captured in the past and captures the medical image data of the subject of image capture time more recent than the image capture time of the first medical image data as second medical image data.
