The multilayer radio frequency dryer can be applied in food, medicine, bio-technological products and agriculture law materials for fast de-infestation and dehydration. The new dryer is assembled with a radio frequency power generator, several pairs of parallel electrode plates in an electromagnetic sealed dehydrating chamber or container. In order to carry out the water vapor, a vacuum system is attached to the dryer. The radio frequency power gauge, temperature sensor, and auto-control system can be attached into the equipment to monitor radio frequency power, sample temperature and processing time during the radio frequency heating process. The samples are placed between the parallel electrode plates to obtain an induced capacitance in the multilayer radio frequency dryer for generating heat. In order to accelerate the drying process, vacuum pumping is for carrying out the water vapor generated during the treatment. The frequency of radio frequency is lower than that of microwave therefore, radio frequency can penetrate deeper into the sample than microwave does, and reach a more uniform temperature distribution in the sample. It is very suitable to de-infest and dehydrate for large quantity or big size products. The multilayer radio frequency dryer can overcome heat transfer resistance of the conventional heating.
