The invention relates to a biologically active food additive for normalizing the function of the thyroid gland, which contains the roots and the rhizome of white Cinquefoil or the above-ground part of white Cinquefoil or a mixture thereof in the amount of 10-75% by mass, and also purple Echinacea in the amount of 10-50% by mass and Laminaria in the amount of 10-80% by mass. The technical result of the invention is the production of a biologically active food additive which has increased bioaccessibility, does not have side effects and, with an optimally selected ratio of components, can be used very effectively to prevent thyroid gland disorders and enhance the bodys immune status.
