An endoscope apparatus and a control method thereof are disclosed. The endoscope apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a sub probe which is formed in a probe part for observing the mucous membrane of the organ of a testee and generates a laser beam to the mucous membrane of the organ, and collects scattered light reflected from the mucous membrane of the organ； and a stabilization part which is formed on the probe part and controls the attitude of the sub probe to compensate for the shaking of the sub probe. According to the embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to enhance the quality (sharpness) of an endoscopic image by compensating for the probe shaking of the endoscopic apparatus, and to improve the diagnosis of a lesion using the endoscopic image and the accuracy of operation.내시경 장치 및 이것의 제어 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 내시경 장치는, 대상자의 장기 점막을 관찰하기 위한 프로브부에 형성되고, 장기 점막으로 레이저 광을 발생시키고, 장기 점막에서 반사되는 산란광을 수집하기 위한 광전달부를 포함하는 서브 프로브； 및 프로브부에 형성되고, 서브 프로브의 흔들림을 보상하도록 서브 프로브의 자세를 제어하는 안정부；를 포함한다. 본 발명의 실시예에 의하면, 내시경 장치의 프로브(probe) 흔들림을 보상하여 내시경 영상의 품질(선명도)을 높일 수 있으며, 내시경 영상을 이용한 병변의 진단 및 수술의 정확도를 높일 수 있다.
