PURPOSE: A method for culturing perennial Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor is provided to obtain the plant increased in size and thickness by repeating transplanting the plant after culturing or transplanting with dividing it into root and stem for making the plant grow for a long time. CONSTITUTION: The method for culturing perennial Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor is characterized by: culturing the seed of the plant adapted to a place with low altitude for an year; culturing the plant for 2-3years after transplanting it to another place; and culturing the plant for 2-3years after transplanting it to other place or transplanting with dividing it into root and stem; and repeating this transplantation.
