PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure regulating valve for a speed sprayer, with which the pressure of a liquid chemical can be regulated by remote control from an operation room, or the like, and which has durability or by which the pressure of the liquid chemical can be regulated not only by remote control but also by manual control, and to provide the speed sprayer. SOLUTION: The pressure regulating valve is constituted so that the pressure of the liquid chemical to be discharged from a pump is regulated by arranging a compression spring 33 in a compressed state between a valve element 31 and a spring presser 53 and adjusting the pressing force of the spring 33 for pressing the element 31 to a valve seat by increasing/decreasing a distance between the presser 53 and the element 31. The position of the presser 53 is made variable by linking with the vertical movement of a shaft 60 of an electric cylinder, by providing the presser 53 linkable with the shaft 60.
