PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing treatment liquid for fish-and-shellfish, based on raw soy sauce, intended for removing fish-and-shellfish's fishy smell by immersing freshness-declined fish-and-shellfish therein for a given period of time, and to provide a method for treating fish-and-shellfish handled as secondary-class products with their freshness declined after being harvested, by removing their fishy smell to enable the thus treated well-flavored fish-and-shellfish to be eaten deliciously. SOLUTION: In the deodorizing treatment liquid for fish-and-shellfish based on raw soy sauce produced during the process of producing soy sauce from soybeans, the objective fish-smell-free fish-and-shellfish with normal good freshness can be obtained by immersing freshness-declined fish-and-shellfish in the liquid for a given period of time.
