PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insecticidal-ovicidal apparatus 1 enabling continuous treatment of grains without drying by uniformly heating the grains by microwave irradiation.
SOLUTION: The insecticidal-ovicidal apparatus 1 is vertically installed to descend the grains introduced from an upper end through the inside of the apparatus and includes a pipe 4 transmitting microwaves, a speed controlling mechanism 8 placed at a lower end of the pipe 4 and controlling the descending speed of the grains, a microwave transmission circuit 6 to transmit the microwave generated by a microwave generator 5, and an applicator 3 to irradiate a side face of the pipe 4 with the microwave transmitted through the microwave transmission circuit 6.
