PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus and a medical image display method which can prevent a wrong operation of an operator.SOLUTION: An X-ray image diagnostic apparatus which includes: a fluoroscopic table which images an X-ray image of a subject an imaging control part which controls the fluoroscopic table and a console provided with an input part which inputs operation information of an operator into the imaging control part, a general control part which makes the imaging control part perform control on the basis of the inputted operation information and makes the fluoroscopic table image a medical image, and a monitor which displays the medical image, includes a touch panel part which is attached to a display surface of the monitor, and instructs execution of the function of an icon with touch to the icon displayed in a display region displayed in parallel with the medical image on the monitor.
