PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope with a simple structure and good maneuverability.
SOLUTION: The endoscope includes an imaging unit (20), an operation member (11) operated by a user, a plurality of wires (32) connected with the imaging unit each at one end, and with the operation member each at the other end, and a support system (12, 13) to support the operation member in the way that it can rotate in the three-dimensional directions around a specific point (R) as the center. The imaging unit can change its direction by changing the rotated position of the operation member and adjusting the pulled or slackened conditions of the plurality of wires.
