PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical catheter allowing better control of a flexural state of the remote side of the medical catheter inside an organic lumen by reducing the diameter on the remote side of the medical catheter.SOLUTION: This medical catheter includes: a shaft part having flexibility an operation part disposed on the near side of the shaft part an operation wire disposed in a luminal part communicating over the remote side from the near side of the shaft part, and connected to the operation part and the remote side of the shaft part and a tubular wire engagement member having a hollow part fixed to the inner wall face forming the luminal part on the remote side of the shaft part.
