PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially producing dry powder of vegetable stalk and leaf such as edible Perilla frutescens leaf, effective for suppressing the lowering of contents of &alpha-linoleic acid and rosmarinic acid and giving the dry powder of the vegetable stalk and leaf such as Perilla frutescens leaf rich in these components.
