PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure in a spool sound-producing mechanism even when seawater, or the like enters a spool through open holes of the spool.SOLUTION: A spool sound-producing mechanism 22 of a single bearing reel 100 has a sound-producing member 24, a pedestal member 26, a pawl member 28, a first urging member 30, a second urging member 32, and an operation section 33. The sound-producing member 24 is integrally rotatably connected with a spool 3. The pedestal member 26 is supported by a reel body 1 so as to be movable to a first position and a second position. While the pawl member 28 can directly contact the sound-producing member 24 when the pedestal member 26 is arranged at the first position, the pawl member 28 is separated from the sound-producing member 24 when the pedestal member 26 is at the second position. The first urging member 30 urges the pedestal member 26 to the first position and the second position separately. The second pressing member 32 urges the pawl member 28 so as to contact the sound-producing member 24.
