PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a clutch operation member easily return to an on position, even when both of its ends are supported, in a dual-bearing reel whose clutch operation member returns from an off position to the on position by a clutch plate.SOLUTION: In a dual-bearing reel, a clutch operation member 17, whose ends in the horizontal direction are supported by the rear section of a reel body 1 so that it can move between an on position where a clutch mechanism 21 is in an on state and an on position where the clutch mechanism is in an off state, is arranged for performing switch operation of the clutch mechanism 21 at least from the on state to the off state. The clutch operation member 17 has a contact portion 27a at which it contacts at least a first end surface 55a of a clutch plate 55.
