The present invention relates to high quality white ginseng with an original shape and a method for manufacturing the same. The white ginseng is manufactured by selecting raw ginseng, drying the raw ginseng at room temperature for 24 hours and drying the dried ginseng under a vacuum condition at 38-54°C and 78-83 kPa. The white ginseng with an original shape is manufactured under an optimal condition.
