PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical and highly accurate microwave mammography apparatus having a short measurement time.SOLUTION: The microwave mammography apparatus is provided that includes: a test object container in which a breast, a test object, is arranged an antenna container containing the test object container a plurality of microwave irradiators disposed around the test object container and a plurality of receivers. The microwave irradiators, while change the frequencies of microwaves, irradiate the test object sequentially with the microwave corresponding to each frequency, a plurality of receivers simultaneously receive the scattered light from the test object, detects an extraneous material (its position and dimensions) in the test object based on the strength and phase of the scattered light. The receivers include dielectric laminate dipole antennas with small crosstalks.
