The present patent application relates to a composition in the powder form comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable particulate phase: a) at least one essential oil or a mixture of essential oils b)at least one modified tapioca starch exhibiting an absorption capacity for a fatty substance of greater than 1ml/g c) at least one filler other than the said starch.
