PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound that bonds to a TAFIa protein, and can inhibit the cleavage of a substrate by the protein.SOLUTION: The compound that has inhibitory activity to the TAFIa protein may be an organoselenium compound that has a basic functional group, an acid functional group, and a selenium atom that can coordinate to a zinc of the TAFIa protein.
