The control unit: (S141) acquires image data taken by the imaging unit (S142-144) identifies feature points in images of the patient in the acquired image data and computes a prescribed index from said feature points, said index being used in determining whether or not a prescribed patient movement has occurred (S152 and 153) sets, on the basis of the bed region in the acquired image data, prescribed conditions for determining whether or not the prescribed movement has occurred, and determines, on the basis of the computed index and the set conditions, whether or not the prescribed movement has occurred and (S154) if it was determined that the prescribed movement has occurred, outputs information indicating that the patient has performed the prescribed movement.
