Predložené rešení se týká zpusobu výroby (-)-1-(3-hydroxypropyl)-5-[(2R)-2-({2,2,2-trifluorethoxy)fenoxyethyl}amino)propyl]-2,3-dihydro-1H-indol-7-karboxamidu vzorce I, známého rovnež pod názvem silodosin, a jeho solí, pricemž zpusob probíhá ve 3 stupních: 1. stupen je alkylace sekundárního aminu obecného vzorce II, alkylacním cinidlem obecného vzorce III, 2. stupen je O,N-hydrogenolýza terciárního aminu obecného vzorce IV vodíkem na kovovém katalyzátoru a 3. stupen je hydrolýza nitrilu obecného vzorce V pusobením alkalických cinidel.The present invention relates to a process for preparing (-)-1-(3-hydroxypropyl)-5-[(2R)-2-({2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)phenoxyethyl}amino)propyl]-2,3-dihydro-1H-indole-7-carboxamide of the general formula I, known also under the name silodosin, and salts thereof wherein the preparation process takes place in three stages: the first stage is alkylation of a secondary amine of the general formula II by an alkylating agent of the general formula III the second stage is O,N-hydrogenolysis of a tertiary amine of the general formula IV by hydrogen onto a metallic catalyst and the third stage is hydrolysis of a nitrile of the general formula V by treating thereof with alkali agents.
