Disclosed is an apparatus for treating a periodontal disease with a replaceable tip. The apparatus according to the present invention includes a light source to generate sterilizing rays of a specific wavelength with sterilizing power and an irradiation device to radiate the sterilizing rays generated by the light source into a gum infected with a periodontal disease. The irradiation device includes an optical fiber having a predetermined length to radiate the incident rays from the light source into the gum infected with the periodontal disease and a gripping device to grip the optical fiber. The optical fiber may include a first optical fiber and a second optical fiber, which can be physically separated from each other, but connected to each other to transfer the rays. The optical fiber gripping device grips the first and second optical fibers such that the second optical fiber can be replaced. A first end of the first optical fiber is fixed near the light source by a fixing unit to allow the rays to enter and a second end of the first optical fiber is connected to a first end of the second optical fiber to transfer the rays.
