PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for processing Freon gas are provided to decompose Freon gas using ultraviolet ray having powerful short wavelength. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing Freon gas comprises: a chamber(10) having a space； a reactor(20) which is installed inside the chamber and in which Freon gas stays for a predetermined time； a non electrode type ultra-violet ray lamp which is installed inside the chamber and emits ultraviolet light to the reactor； and a magnetron(90) emitting microwave to the inside of the chamber.본 발명은 마이크로파로 구동되는 무전극 자외선 램프를 이용한 프레온 가스의 분해방법 및 이를 위한 분해장치에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 마이크로파 및 자외선, 광촉매를 동시에 이용하여 프레온 가스를 효과적으로 분해할 수 있는 분해방법 및 이를 위한 분해장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 프레온 가스 분해방법은 프레온 가스가 유출입되는 챔버의 내부에 마이크로파에 의해 자외선 광을 방출하는 무전극식 자외선 램프를 설치하는 제 1단계와, 챔버의 내부에 프레온 가스를 유입시키는 제 2단계와, 프레온 가스 중으로 자외선 및 마이크로파를 동시에 방출하여 상기 프레온 가스를 분해할 수 있도록 상기 챔버의 내부로 마이크로파를 발진시키는 제 3단계를 포함한다.
