PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling raising method capable of efficiently and inexpensively raising a seedling on which a sufficiently grown root clump is formed with high fixation ratio after planting.SOLUTION: The seedling raising method for raising a seedling on a container for forming root clump uses a delayed effective fertilizer as a fertilizer to be put into the container, the delayed effective fertilizer has a fertilizer response period in which a fertilizer is eluted being shorter than a seedling raising period in the container, thereby providing a period in which a fertilizer is short in a latter half of the raising period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】植林後の定着率の高い十分に発達した根鉢が形成された苗木を効率良く低コストで育成することのできる育苗方法を提供することを課題としている。【解決手段】根鉢形成用の容器内で苗木を育成する育苗方法において、前記容器内に投入する肥料として遅効性肥料を用い、前記遅効性肥料は、肥料が溶出される肥効期間が容器内での育苗期間よりも短いものを用いることにより、育苗期間の後半に肥料が欠乏する期間を設けた。【選択図】図４
