PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of preventing turnup of front/back ends when being worn on shorts.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes: a liquid-permeable top sheet 200 on a front side a liquid-impermeable back sheet 300 on a back side and an absorber 100 disposed between the top sheet 200 and the back sheet 300. The absorbent article further includes: end flaps 10 and 11 provided at longitudinal front and back part where no absorber 100 is present and side flaps 13 and 14 provided at width-directional side parts where no absorber 100 is present. The end flap 10 and 11 are formed by sealing the top sheet 200 and the back sheet 300 and the length from the end parts of the absorber 100 to the end parts of the end flaps 10 and 11 is 1 mm-4 mm.
