PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the re-discharge of an odor substance inside a room and also to suppress power consumption in a deodorization device having a deodorization performance recovery function.SOLUTION: A deodorization device includes a body case 1, a blow means 7, a deodorization means 8, a heating means 9, and a control means. The body case 1 includes a suction port 4, a blowoff port 5, and a ventilation passage 6. The blow means 7 takes in air from the suction port 4, allows the air to pass through the ventilation passage 6, and discharges the air from the blowoff port 5. The deodorization means 8 is arranged in the ventilation passage 6. The heating means 9 is arranged downstream of the deodorization means 8 and faces a part of the deodorization means 8. A predetermined oxidative decomposition catalyst is loaded on the heating means 9.
