Method comprises: mixing fish and/or by-products of the fish processing with a processing auxiliary material for oil retention and preservation; crushing the mixture, then sterilizing according to European commission regulation 1774, appendix V, chapter 3, method 7and drying with hot air; and simultaneously dehydrating the product during heating to a dry material content of 90%. The feedstuff obtained by the method is free-flowing and storable for up to 3 months.
