PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for reducing the deterioration in the color while improving the resistance to washing operations.SOLUTION: A process for dyeing keratinous fibers is provided, comprising: a step of dyeing the keratinous fibers by using an oxidatively dyeing composition including: at least one oxidation base and at least one aromatic coupler substituted in the meta position respectively by two amino groups in which at least one is primary and a subsequent step of washing the thus dyed and colored keratinous fibers by using a detergent composition including at least one surfactant selected from alkyl polyglycoside surfactants and polyglycerolated surfactants.
