PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of threshing remains or waste straw, and to reduce driving loads in a thresher.SOLUTION: The thresher includes: a threshing chamber which has a threshing cylinder and a threshing net spread around the outer periphery of the threshing cylinder a feeding/conveying device on one side in the lateral direction of the threshing chamber for feeding grain culms a first treatment chamber which has a first treatment cylinder on the opposite side of the threshing chamber from the side where the feeding/conveying device is set a second treatment chamber which is disposed on the rear side of the first treatment chamber, which communicates with the first treatment chamber and which has a second treatment cylinder a swing sorting shelf under the threshing chamber for sorting treated objects while swinging in the longitudinal direction an intake port disposed between the threshing chamber and the first treatment chamber for making the threshing chamber communicate with the first treatment chamber via meshes of the threshing net and a communication port disposed between the threshing chamber and the second treatment chamber for making the terminal end of the threshing chamber communicate with the starting end of the second treatment chamber.
