PURPOSE: An EPA-containing liposome which is coated with thiol chitosan and a method for preparing the same are provided to maximize stability, efficiency, and absorption rate. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing EPA-containing liposome coated with thiol chitosan comprises: a step of adding a volatile organic solvent to a mixture to prepare a phospholipid solution； a step of evaporating and concentrating the phosphlipid solution to prepare a thin film； a step of adding thiol chitosan solution to the thin film； and a step of hydrating thin film to prepare liposome.본 발명은 티올 키토산이 코팅된 에이코사펜타에노산 함유 리포좀 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 상기 본 발명에 따른 티올 키토산이 코팅된 에이코사펜타에노산 함유 리포좀은 기존의 에이코사펜타에노산을 약물전달체로의 적용에 대한 어려움을 근본적으로 개선한 것이며, 우수한 아토피 피부 개선 효과 및 면역증진 효과가 있어 아토피 치료를 위한 기능성 의약품의 발전에 크게 기여할 것이다.
