In at least a medical system including a structure, a plurality of transducers located on the structure, a shaft member configured to percutaneously deliver the structure to a location within a patient, a plurality of conductors at least partially within the shaft member and coupled to the transducers, and a controller operatively coupled to the transducers via the conductors, the controller may cause first electrical power to be delivered to one or more of the transducers for a first period of time, where second electrical power less than the first electrical power, if delivered for a second period of time longer than the first period time would result in a steady-state temperature of a portion of the shaft member that would be just below a safe temperature limit for at least the portion of the shaft member.Selon linvention, dans au moins un système médical comprenant une structure, une pluralité de transducteurs situés sur la structure, un élément darbre conçu pour administrer par voie percutanée la structure en un site à lintérieur dun patient, une pluralité de conducteurs au moins partiellement à lintérieur de lélément darbre et couplés aux transducteurs et un dispositif de commande couplé de manière fonctionnelle aux transducteurs par lintermédiaire des conducteurs, le dispositif de commande peut provoquer la fourniture dune première puissance électrique à un ou à plusieurs des transducteurs pendant une première période de temps, où une deuxième puissance électrique, inférieure à la première puissance électrique, si elle est fournie pendant une deuxième période de temps plus longue que la première période de temps, entraînerait une température détat stable dune partie de lélément darbre qui serait juste au-dessous dune limite de température sûre pour au moins la partie de lélément darbre.
