PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save work such as adjusting a device, even when longitudinal lengths are different in a method for manufacturing a plurality of absorbent articles that are same-type products, but have mutually different longitudinal lengths.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes: an arrangement step of arranging one absorbent article 2 out of a plurality of absorbent articles 2 such that an absorption central area STA of the absorbent article enters between a first position in which the longitudinal direction and a conveyance direction MD orthogonally cross with each other and that is separated from a reference line 60 by a first distance DF1 in a transverse direction CD, and a second position that is separated therefrom by a second distance DF2 and a folding step of folding the absorbent article at the first position and the second position. The longitudinal length of the absorption central area of the plurality of absorbent articles, the first position and the second position are set in common among the plurality of absorbent articles. In the transverse direction, a distance between the first position and the second position is longer than the length of the absorption central area.
