PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer film which has high tear strength and heat retaining properties even in a high vinyl acetate content when used as a film. SOLUTION: This ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) film comprises an EVA which has 20-45 wt.% vinyl acetate unit content measured in conformity to JIS K6924-1 (1997), 0.1-20 g/10 minutes melt index measured in conformity to JIS K7210 (1995) and≤4 molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) measured in terms of standard polystyrene by gel permeation chromatography and which has the controlled composition distribution of vinyl acetate unit content, and is highly vinyl acetated.
