The invention is directed to a mobile hand held miniature laboratory system in general, and to fluid testing apparatus for performing a parameter measurement in a fluid sample and methods of use thereof in particular. The apparatus comprising: A strip adapted to absorb a fluid sample and to produce a signal indicative of said parameter level in said sample and an adaptor adapted to connect said strip to a smart phone to thereby allow delivery of the produced signal or a correlated signal to said smart phone for obtaining a measurement of said fluid parameter displayed on said smart phone, wherein said testing apparatus relies on said smart phone at least for power supply and display means.Linvention concerne un système de laboratoire miniature portatif mobile en général, et un appareil dessai de fluide pour effectuer une mesure de paramètre dans un échantillon de fluide et des procédés dutilisation en particulier. Lappareil comprenant : une bandelette adaptée pour absorber un échantillon de fluide et produire un signal indicatif dudit niveau de paramètre dans ledit échantillon et un adaptateur adapté pour raccorder ladite bandelette à un téléphone intelligent pour permettre la distribution du signal produit ou un signal corrélé audit téléphone intelligent pour obtenir une mesure dudit paramètre de fluide affiché sur ledit téléphone intelligent, où ledit appareil dessai dépend dudit téléphone intelligent au moins pour les moyens dalimentation et daffichage. Le fluide peut être un fluide physiologique tel que le sang, lurine, la salive ou le liquide amniotique, ou un fluide non physiologique tel quun fluide obtenu à partir de bassins industriels pour la culture de poissons ou dalgues, ou de piscines dagrément.
